Name and theme

Postby creampotato » Tue Apr 27, 2010 11:27 am

Have we got anything on a name for this project? Or a decided theme? I'm just curious, cuz one post says one thing while the other post says something else...

And also because i wanna make a cool main menu for the game :D. Lol

No name has been decided on.. as for a theme... hmm. This project wasn't really 'my baby' so I have no idea. :D

Yeah, I know.

But how did you guys think of a name for WaW?

Was it like Giggle walks in and gives the name, done it's settled or was it like, "All in favour of WaW raise your hands."? Maybe we could do something like you guys did.

But, i mean, i don't wanna start a whole naming thread again.

Heh:

wyrm: "So... wanna make a game?"
Derf: "Sure, why not."
Giggle: "I'm in."
wyrm: "...*sips coffee*"
Derf: "...*sips coffee*"
Giggle: "...*sips coffee*"
Derf: "So, uh... what do you wanna call it?"
wyrm: "I dunno."
wyrm: "...*sips coffee*"
Derf: "...*sips coffee*"
Giggle: "...*sips coffee*"
Giggle: "What about PoW?"
wyrm: "Nah, that's a gay name."
Shopkeeper: "What about WaW?"
wyrm: "*Thinks Derf said it.* Great idea Derf!"
Giggle: "WaW it is!"
Shopkeeper: "*facepalm*"

Haha, ya, good guess, but Giggle doesn't drink coffee either XD

I think he always went for white hot chocolates...which I gotta say, are pretty delicious :)

White hot chocolate and Forbidden fruit smoothie ^_^. Krasus was in the shop with us too, btw ;).... I miss the Shamrock Shack ;( . They went out of business, then got new owners, but now they suck and they don't even serve my two favorite beverages anymore.

I always thought it was Derfmancher that suggested it - then we all agreed it was good :). From what I can remember, is, after much previous speculation, I came to class one day and wyrmmage said something like: "Hey, Pete (Derfmancher) thinks he came up with a name for the game last night; how does Worlds At War sound?", Me: "Spectacular!", Krasus: "That's crazy!" and... done.
Of course, if this didn't happen wyrmmage, I guess it's just another memory I fabricated (likely from a life-like dream I had after the night of the name being decided ).

It is - BUT DON'T BUY IT FROM STARBUCKS!!! I tried theirs and they entirely suck at making it O__O! It tasted like a marshmallow milkshake, only heated up.

Anyways, are we going to be going with the ant theme?

Yuck! I reckon marshmallows ruin a hot chocolate; unless in a campfire :)

Also, I think we were...
