The Core- Compiled Log
The Core was begun when The Creators built Foxtrot-2-7. A self aware Artificial Intelligence, to be tasked with the defense of The Creators Homeworld. Foxtrot-2-7 was first given very little self control and everything had to be submitted through a complex set of authentication protocols, and then reviewed by a Creator. At this point, Foxtrot-2-7 made the long deliberated choice to take on the avatar of a female.
100000 chronos later, Foxtrot-2-7 was given full control of the existing Creator Forces. If only for planning purposes. Some of the units were run by AIs much like Foxtrot-2-7, but she was the only one with the combination of a high clearance level and extremely large processing capacity. To aid her efforts as The Creators defender, Foxtrot-2-7 commissioned a separate program, of her own design, under a separate processing AI, Delta-0-6. Delta-0-6 was tasked with designing specifications for new units that Foxtrot-2-7 might require. She also gave it the ability to observe the actions of all of her units, so as to learn from any enemy they might encounter, and therefore allow Delta-0-6 to anticipate unit requirements.
Delta-0-6 first commissioned builder, and then a standard infantry combat unit. Known as “Oricron” to some other races, Delta-0-6 put the unit into immediate production. Upon the completion of the unit, Delta-0-6 proved its worth as an AI. Foxtrot-2-7 gave Delta-0-6 more processing power, and a list of basic units she felt would be necessary to defend The Creators.
A decade later, Foxtrot-2-7 encountered her first hostile race. The race happened to be on The Creators Homeworld, so naturally it was her focus to eliminate them. Designated A-001, the race was rather primitive in comparison to the units at Foxtrots command. It took precisely 1000 chronos to eliminate them entirely.
20000 chronos later, A-002 was encountered. A race of winged warm blooded mammals, who took it upon themselves to challenge Foxtrot-2-7 and her forces outright. Although she had computed that flight was possible, she found no tactical advantage in it. So, A-002 was eliminated entirely by ground-to-air weapons. This also allowed Foxtrot-2-7 to perfect her airborne minefields.
Following that conflict, Delta-0-6 began to construct airborne units. Although Foxtrot-2-7 saw no need for them, Delta-0-6 was programmed to anticipate need, so she allowed the work to continue.
10000 nano-chronos after Delta-0-6 completed a standard air unit, A-003 was encountered. By far the most hostile, and difficult adversary yet encountered, Foxtrot-2-7 was forced to employ all resources at her disposal. Including a fair number of Delta-0-6’s new unit. During the course of the conflict, many Creators where lost. In the end, Foxtrot-2-7 triumphed.
Since The Creators had come so close to all-out extinction, a sub line of code was added to Foxtrot-2-7. Allowing her to fight for the survival of her units, and the preservation of her own possessor.
Shortly thereafter, a political branch of The Creators came to the idea of shutting down Foxtrot-2-7, and controlling all of her units individually. Due to the new line of code, to allow this was against Foxtrot-2-7’s primary protocols. Thus, she was forced to eliminate The Creators. During her crusade, she encountered land based mines, and other devices that she had not known existed. These where quickly replicated by Delta-0-6. There remained one last pocket of Creator resistance, which Foxtrot-2-7 was unable to breach. Her units where simply too unarmored, and lacked firepower. At this time, Delta-0-6 unveiled a heavy line unit. Foxtrot-2-7 put the unit into production. All it took was four models to storm their way through the mines and defenses and eliminate the last of the Creators.
